I thought I remember seeing somewhere a way to check if a custom
function was being run from the command window, versus being run from
inside of an application. Anyone know what I'm talking about, or am I
just crazy today?

Cheers,

Think i found my answer. Version() will return 'runtime' in the string
when called from inside an application .exe (at least for dBase plus).
