I use sendMailEx.cc in my pgrgram to open a new email message box and input address in To and Cc box automatically.

my pgrgram runs fine on a computer with Vista business + Outlook 2007 small business

but it fails on on a computer with Vista business + Outlook 2007 Enterprise
1. new message can not be open if Outlook is opening.
2. while Outlook is closed, a new message opened but it's empty in "TO" box ( Okay in CC box )

any help ?

You might try terminating Outlook before the send.

I see so many people with issues on this sendMailEx.cc and or sendemail.cc.

Just go out and spend 25 bucks or so (about the same as a dinner), for a 3rd
party email solution.

I use jmail, it works like a charm.
I do have some lingering usage of sendemail.cc but I will be demolishing
that sometime soon.

Or wait until after the German annual conference.
There probably will be a session on how to write an e-mail-client in
.net and using that from dBase.

It's on the list of possible topics, but as usual, the attendees will be
voting for their most favourite sessions.

If that topic will be held (maybe even if not) I suppose that afterwards
there will be a C# open source project for an e-mail plug-in.

Ok, I believe it can be done through oleautoclient, rather than the
"mailto:" protocol.

I think Mark VDB has some stuff on his site.

Maybe it should be a tweak on the Outlook side so that dBASE can be informed
rather than dBASE informing Outlook.

Also using a import utility in dBASE to pull in activities from Outlook.

One thing you might consider is recording email addresses for two purpose,
1) the obvious of follow up and communication ; 2) the email will serve as a
unique ID for linking up to Outlook and seeing the email folders of Outlook
in dBASE.

but it fails on on a computer with Vista business + Outlook 2007 Enterprise
I don't know if that's anything of importance in your case.
Since I don't use Sendmail I cannot test what's going on.
In fact, I am not even using dBase under Vista any longer.

But the combination of Vista business and Outlook Enterprise is VERY
strange. Enterprise versions usually cannot be bought from any (legal)
store; AFAIK they are part of - as the name says - enterprise
deliveries to special partners of MS _OR_ part of the MSDN subscription.

In both cases, you would also install Vista ENTERPRISE, not business.
And also, Vista Enterprise cannot be bought. The most complete version
for sale is ULTIMATE.
